At Mar-a-Lago last night, wannabe autocrat Donald Trump praised dictator Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary.
TRUMP: “There’s nobody that’s better, smarter or a better leader than Viktor Orban.”
Orban has curtailed press freedom, weakened judicial independence, undermined multiparty democracy in Hungary, and considers the EU a political enemy, all music to Trump's ears.
Orange Jesus loves those dictators.
Kinda' makes you wonder: if Trump projected a hologram of Adolph Hitler on a Mar-a-Lago stage and said there was never a smarter leader who loved his country more than Hitler, whether the crowd would do anything but applaud and cheer.
BTW, Orban is such a brilliant leader that inflation in Hungary was 26.2% in 2023. (Orban controls the business sector in Hungary.)
