US Secret Service Director Sean Curran said
Why is he in this story?

"...the surge of swatting calls against high-ranking officials posed a real and “imminent threat” to the Secret Service’s protective operations..."
Seems like a reasonable fit for the secret service. (unlike counterfeiting, which I could never figure out)
