Interestingly, the last earnings call was surprisingly devoid of hype. There was some, sure. But it was more of a cautionary tone. Building out the supply chain for Cybercab and Optimus will take time. Robotaxi rollout is moving slowly for safety reasons. No grand promises about enormous robotaxi coverage or legions of Optimi. The Semi was barely mentioned. And of course profits cratered and margins were compressed to legacy manufacturing, too.
