Hmm...Steve Angel is a great operator is to be proven. Yet again we're out trying to cut our way to stardom, the HH era with a bit of comeback mania or whatnot. Same ole start, same ole story, same ole-same ole.
Ain't sustainable. Somehow, someway, some day...sales and volumes gotta go up for the railroads as they've cut to the bone and then some.
Hopefully Steve Angel, or maybe better yet something-somewhere, is about to change for the railroads. The last few years of stagnation has been by far the easiest prediction ever. Thank goodness Berkshire didn't mess too much with it.
Sales-sales-sales...they gotta figure out how to grow the top line. Until then Angel and all the rest are running head on into a brick wall.
