Kirk’s murderer wasn’t a leftist, and Mr. Benson knows this. So starting out with a lie is not a persuasive argument.
He then follows up with the “we’re just victims” while ignoring the violent behavior of rightists, such as the murder of a Democrat state representative, the attempted murder of a Democrat state senator, continued violent rhetoric from the President, and an Arizona state representative calling on a House member to be hanged (just to name a few tecent incidents off the top of my head).
Sadly, there are crazy people. The saddest thing is the crazy rightist in the White House who instead of trying to heal our nation, is deliberately fanning the flames of hatred and violence with his actions and words.
