I guess 50-50 that Trump gets into the Iran thing. I dont think he wants to

It’s a tempting predicate for invoking the Insurrection Act here at home.

For my part, I have no idea whether Trump gets into it. My guess is that he doesn’t know either.


But the guy who provoked violence in SoCal in order to introduce National Guard and active military on the streets of America will not hesitate to wag the dog as regards Iran.


And the sad thing about it- he doesn’t give a damn about Iran, but he does give a damn about being King of America, and he will use the former as an excuse to insure the latter.

And MOST the MAGA lemmings will cheer him being “tough on Iran”.

But the MAGA coalition is beginning to fray. Things are not hunky dory in MAGA Whoville. Trump sees attacking Iran as a stepping stone to consolidating power here at home, but a prime consequence of attacking Iran will be to discard his campaign promises about “No new wars”, and open up a fissure within his own party.

An old, old story of greed, avarice and stupidity, sowing the seeds of its own destruction.
