The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

It seems President Reagan was Pro-Life. And Donald Trump has returned to his pro abortion roots and ----is helping Post-Birth Abortions along.

Him and RFK are bringing the measles back into style. Innocent children....'God's children" who have 'right to life'---have DIED. I REALLY wish the Values Voters and Evangelical Conservatives would take a break from the secret gay affairs and pay attention a bit.

Thankfully when I was a kid we got the measles shot. We HAD to.

AS FAR AS ADULTS- Reagan didn't turn "Anti-Vax" into a goddamn religion. Mind you, you people and your Digital Culture is partially to blame and Trump and RFK are more to blame. From Reagan.......

reaganlibrary.gov - Proclamation national adult immunization week

Proclamation 5891 -- National Adult Immunization Week, 1988

By the President of the United States of America

A Proclamation
America does well to hold a national week of observance to remind citizens that the need for immunization does not stop with childhood. Vaccine-preventable diseases continue to kill grown-ups in our Nation; as many as 70,000 adults die each year because they do not take advantage of vaccines for influenza, pneumococcal pneumonia, hepatitis B, tetanus, and other preventable infectious diseases
