Spoiler alert - this post is all about the ending.
My wife was a huge fan of the TV show Supernatural. I caught a lot of the general plot and characters from occasionally watching with her. As they went along to bigger and bigger plot points, I always thought they should end the story with some kind of gizmo or spell or whatever that destroyed the supernatural entirely and resulted in only our wholly natural world. It fit with the series perfectly, IMO, as the results of there being souls / angels / demons / god never seemed to result in more happiness or joy than their absence would have. But the zeitgeist / creators didn't see that as a good ending.
Cue this year when watching Good Omens season 3 and they used my ending! David Tenant's character, Crowley, wishes for exactly that and God obliges. I was so happy. Did anyone else catch it?
