If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

Do you understand the purpose of higher interest rates?
The concern is inflation is still above target, and the tariffs will also be inflationary. This reduces the ability to drop interest rates.
We will have to wait and see where this actually goes as almost anything can happen.
