That is part of Trump's everyman appeal. That is for those who don't have a chip on their shoulder just itching to twist Trumps words into something else, eg drink bleach to fight covid.
I know the progressives don't get that. They prefer a polished bureaucrat whose tone is smooth as buttermilk and can talk for ten minutes answering a question, when later upon reflection you realize they did not say anything.
