Earnings are due to be reported next week, here are some thoughts.
Forecasted EPS Range is $1.64 to $1.98 per share with the average at $1.84. For what its worth I am using $1.91 as my estimate. Revenue $85B to $87B, my estimate is $85.13B, based on 11% growth.
Using my numbers and a stock price of $165 we would get the following (TTM)
Revenue: $336B ~ 6.2x multiple
EPS : $7.40 / share ~ 24x multiple
BTW: I have $163 as my "fair value" estimate, so we are pretty much on target for that. Looking ahead a bit we might see $9.25 per share in earnings and TTM Revenue around $365B. Apply your favorite multiples (6x and 25x are typical) to get a stock forecast ($180-$220 - I tend to use the midpoint - $200).
