All elected public officials and peace officers, etc., in all 50 states, nationwide, swear (or affirm) to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Illegals entering the country illegally are in violation of the Constitution.

People who are sworn to uphold the Constitution are therefore expected to act to prevent illegals from entering the country illegally.
