I'm not worried about SS and am waiting another 18 months to age 70 to start benefits.

Lots of Trumpers are on Social Security and will recognize if it's cut. Trump has no idea how to fix SS, but he won't to anything to anger his base.

History tells us that anyone who suggests cutting Social Security is voted out in the next election.
