The Confederacy’s policies and platforms have been adopted by today’s Republicans, and most especially by MAGA.

So true!
Conservatives (MAGA) are the folks who brought us the KKK and slavery and Jim Crowe and the Southern Strategy and strict voter ID requirements, and the purging of voter rolls,
and lies about Haitian immigrants and nazi salutes etc, etc.
Heck, Donald Trump was endorsed twice by former KKK leader David Duke and by the "Crusader" the official newspaper of the KKK.
