conservatives deride college, = 1pg

That is a excessive generalization and unfair characterization of the conservative position. The criticisms I hear fall into three fairly narrow issues.

1) Suppression of free speech. BTW Harvard,

2) Too expensive with the ancillary issue of college debt.

3) That a college degree is the only path to success.
