The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

>>Is he seriously going to test women for "low T" too?<<

Seems he has been trying to drive women out of the service.

Yup. He wants to drive women out of the military.

Remember when he set new fitness standards?

During a speech earlier this week, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced the implementation of new fitness standards for the military.

In addition to the newly proposed annual fitness exam, Hegseth's speech emphasized "gender-neutral" testing with men and women required to meet the same minimum physical performance benchmarks.

As I read that, women would be required to meet *all* male standards, which he could deem includes testosterone.

Effective immediately, all Active Duty and Reserve Component personnel aged thirty
and older will be screened for testosterone deficiency as a mandatory element of their Periodic
Health Assessment (PHA). Service members under the age of thirty may also request this
screening during their PHA.

I don't see a carve out for non-combat positions, or for women. Theoretically, a woman could serve until she hits 30, when testing becomes mandatory, then she's not PQ, so, career ends.
