I was listening to "Money for the rest of us" and the topic came up. If you invest in the highest tranche of them, they are extremely safe, and pay about 1% more than the barclays aggregate bond index.

Some funds that own them are DSU, DoubleLine Flexible Income, cloa, and ecc to name a few.

I wonder if anyone has any thoughts about them.
