At today's Oval Office presser, when Mad King Donald was asked about president Zelensky's offer to purchase 10 U.S.-made Patriot air defense systems for $15 billion to shield densely populated cities from ongoing Russian missile and drone attacks, Trump once again parroted Putin propaganda.
TRUMP: "He's always looking to purchase missiles. Listen, when you start a war, you gotta' know you can win a war. You don't start a war against somebody that's 20 times your size and then hope that people give you some missiles."
Now c'mon cultists, when are you going to come to your senses and finally admit Trump is deeply compromised and is clearly in Putin's pocket?
Not sure how it could be more obvious.

Now c'mon cultists, when are you going to come to your senses and finally admit Trump is deeply compromised and is clearly in Putin's pocket? There's also the possibility that this is just motivated delusional thinking.
Trump promised that he'd end the war, and he wants to be praised for being a peacemaker. It is very easy for us to strong-arm Ukraine, since they're weaker and reliant on our arms. It is much more difficult for us to strong-arm Russia, because that involves a lot of things that don't jibe well with the rest of the Trump agenda: working with allies, spending on foreign aid and assistance, and relying on agency expertise.
It's much easier for the war to end with Ukraine mostly losing, and for Russia to get nearly all of what it wanted. So Trump willfully believes things that make it more okay for Ukraine to mostly lose. One of those beliefs is that Ukraine started this war - not by firing the first shot, but by doing things that effectively forced Russia to invade. It's balderdash, he really wants it to be true. Because the war is very difficult to end if Ukraine's side is the righteous one; and since it's worse for Trump if the war is difficult to end, it has to be true that Ukraine's side
isn't the righteous one.

He's always looking to purchase missiles.
Sell him 20-30 nukes instead. 1000-3000 mile range, maybe longer range? The consequences for Poot-Poot have changed quite dramatically. The deck got reshuffled and there are a lot more "aces", shall we say?

trump as russian asset thesis is weak.
putin's greatest ally (by power) and public co-conspirator...definitive yes, by actions and influence.
even if this slows, the playbook has already worked beyond russia's wildest 2024 dreams, which they continue to push to extremes. trump parrots the propaganda rapidly, and putin just needs some to stick. no reason to stop asking endlessly for more.
gabbard is another story, many still hold her carelessness will expose her as an actual asset. even as a channel for confidential material, will it matter for the gop?

will it matter for the gop?
For the large part of the GOP that is in the cult...it won't matter or they will never hear it.

He's been on about the Peace Prize. I'm guessing that is his angle.

Except that everyone I know who worked RU matters in the intelligence community thinks exactly the opposite, and have been consistent on this for many years. But other than that, you're correct.

judging by public actions, anyone can see trump is putin's ally , and co-conspirator due to their (no longer monitored) discussions.
where are the credible references that trump is a russian agent via recent direct experience?
the many guests on this excellent
https://www.spytalk.co/ podcast all debunk the notion there exists proof, and they would be denied access to such. you may recognize many notable names in the intel world.
the host makes it a point to directly ask about this.more weakly, w/out naming his sources, others like peter zeihan reached similar conclusions.
there were some interesting stories on trump intercepts missing classification terms russia uses to grade the value of their foreign assets. whatever he is, seems unprecedented, but not the obvious past/future proof of a payday, kompromat, useful idiot, etc...

Except that everyone I know who worked RU matters in the intelligence community thinks exactly the opposite, and have been consistent on this for many years. But other than that, you're correct.Well, umm, Ed Martin, the man that Trump temporarily placed in charge of one of the two United States Attorney’s offices that handle the most national-security matters appeared on Russian state media over 150 times from 2016 to 2024.
In early 2022, Martin told an interviewer on the same arm of RT’s global network that “there’s no evidence” of a Russian military buildup on Ukraine’s borders, criticizing U.S. officials as warmongering and ignoring Russia’s security concerns. Russia invaded nine days later, igniting a war that continues today.
Martin is now interim U.S. attorney for D.C. and Trump’s pick to serve full time in the role. But as a conservative activist and former Missouri Republican official, he appeared more than 150 times on RT and Sputnik — networks funded and directed by the Russian government — as a guest commentator from August 2016 to April 2024, according to a search of their websites and the Internet Archive’s database of television broadcasts.
Martin did not disclose the appearances last month on a Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire, which asks nominees to list all media interviews. Analysis of television archives suggests he went on RT and Sputnik more often than on any major cable network during that span.Okay, so maybe Trump's not a Russian asset but, then, exactly how would a Russian asset act differently than Trump has with respect to Putin and Russia?

agree, there is no difference as a proven asset except, have they access, an asset would be expected to pass on classified information. maybe not all of it, but some of it.
and here, we would already by giving way too much credit in regards to trump strategically (even just for himself) passing only certain information.
but assume russia already has sufficient access to classified information via gabbard and the like.
even if they are not doing so continuously, these 'assets' have knowingly opened enough security holes for russia to do the rest.
trump is far more valuable, and uniquely so, in his public alliances with russia, whatever the real reason may be.
