Bottom line is the Democrats voted for what?, the 13/14 time to keep the government closed?
Democrats never voted to close the Government.
Mike Johnson dismissed the House and refuses to open it back up.
Six little words:
“The House is called to order.”
Yet Holy Mike refuses to speak them.
Though Republicans have a majority and could pass anything they wanted to pass, Holy Mike realizes that he doesn’t have the votes to pass what he wants.
So instead of meeting with Democrats and finding a way forward, he shuts down Congress and blames the Democrats for his own incompetence
