The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

The world order is changing, not in our favor, and trying to bomb our way out of it makes it worse.

The world is indeed changing. In order to be able to see what's happening you need to leave your politics at the door. Which, sadly, most people are unable to do.

The ones left standing will be the USA, Russia, and China. In that order.

We have had 2 categories of countries, First World and Third World. I have always wondered "What about Second World? Are there any 2nd world countries and if so, who?"

The last couple of years which countries are becoming Second World is more and more evident. They aren't moving from 3 to 2 but form 1 to 2. Sad, really.
Pick up a newspaper and you will be able to identify them yourself.
But like I said, in order to see it you have to leave your politics and preferences at the door.

But none of this has anything to do with Berkshire Hathaway.
