BTW, America was in peril on January 6th. It wasn't from the idiots that Trump convinced to beat up on police officers (you know idiots you still defend). America was in peril because there was a plot to overturn a free and fair election by many members of the Republican party. Using the idiots who stormed the capital was just a small part of the plot. They were just there to cause chaos to be used as a pretense to change the election results.
