The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Mad King Donald repeatedly lied that there were no wars or terrorist attacks during his presidency. Gonna' be hard to keep that nonsense myth alive now that Israel has bombed the sh!t out of Iran (while the United States is negotiating a no-nukes pact with Iran).

Israel attacked at least six military bases around Tehran, including Parchin, and residential homes at two highly secure complexes for military commanders and multiple residential buildings around Tehran. As late as this morning, Mad King Donald told Israel not to attack Iran while negotiations were still ongoing.

Iran’s state television reported that the commander in chief of the Revolutionary Guards, Gen. Hossein Salami, was killed, as were at least four senior officials. Tabriz, a city located in northern western Iran with an Azeri population and a center of commerce, is currently under attack.

All of this sure sounds like a Big F*uck You, Donnie, from Netanyahu.

The $64,000 question is whether the U.S. will play an extensive role in defending Israel from an Iranian counterattack, as the Biden administration did when those countries exchanged blows last year. Secretary of State Marco Rubio made no mention of such a role in a statement tonight, saying that “our top priority is protecting American forces in the region.”

Of course, a fat lot of good that did Biden as Netanyahu went on to sh!t all over him.

It'll be interesting to see if Mad King Donald tells Israel what he told Ukraine: "This is not my war."
