Abortion issue ranks near bottom of American voters.

Merciful, if true and they vote like it, because on the issue itself, the republicans have been on the wrong side and still appear to be. That needs to change if the party expects to attract new younger voters.

Think of it this way, constant preachiness about climate change turns off a lot of people. Well, preachiness about abortion and religion does the same thing.

Fine to hold your own personal views and even publicly advocate to attract others to make the same decision for themselves. But when that public advocation turns into campaigning for government to force your decision on everyone else, be it "wear the mask" or "have the baby", then it becomes a big problem which I hope everybody opposes, liberal or conservative.
