I wonder what Trump will say. Flags at half staff? What am I thinking, of course he already has ordered that. At least he kept it classy, though he's contradictory as usual: "one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER". She's either one of the greatest, or far beyond all others. Can't be both.
Aside: was it always a thing for POTUS to lower flags for notable non-political famous people? When did this custom start?
