BUT, the price of eggs is down.

Hate to nitpick but...

"In March, the cpi for eggs increased 5.9%, up 60.4% from a year ago, with an average price of $6.23 per dozen, up $0.33 per dozen from last month."

"Egg prices — one barometer of consumer stress right now — have continued to climb this year, with average costs now 60.4% higher than they were just 12 months ago, according to the latest government data."
