When you don't know anything about history and you latch on to certain current affairs, you might end up doing things you regret.
Such as giving a Standing O to a Waffen SS member from WWII. Way to go, Canada!

Sheesh. In Canada it seems they have trouble distinguishing what a Nazi is. Up there, it's a trucker protesting COVID lockdowns and not a dude who was, actually a Nazi.

It gets even worse. Poland is now moving to extradite 98 year old Yaroslav Hunka, the Nazi who was praised in the World Stage.
'In view of the scandalous events in the Canadian Parliament, which involved honoring, in the presence of President Zelenskyy, a member of the criminal Nazi SS Galizien formation, I have taken steps towards the possible extradition of this man to Poland,' said Poland's Education Minister Przemysław Czarnek.Turns out that lots of Ukrainian Nazis fled to Canada after WW2. Hopefully they deport him and he faces justice in Poland.
