The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

LurkerMom: Not to mention the poll bump.

According to the Morning Consult poll conducted on Friday, 49% of Independents and 15% of Republicans said Trump should end his campaign because of the conviction.

And according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, ten percent of republicans are less likely to vote for Dementia Don:

Ten percent of Republican registered voters say they are less likely to vote for Donald Trump following his felony conviction for falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to a porn star, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Friday.

If that holds, ten percent would be catastrophic.

LurkerMom: Thinking out loud.... If KremlinJoe gets his way and President Trump cannot run come November wouldn’t it be nice if Donald Trump Junior ran in his place instead?

Of the long list of brilliant ideas you've brought us, this may be the most brilliant yet. I hardily endorse the GOP making junior it's presidential candidate.

Please, please, please, please, please.

Oh, and this "KremlinJoe" nonsense is beyond stupid. The republican party as a whole has completely adopted every Russian talking point and it's (current) felon presidential candidate is the only one excitedly announcing he'll be a "Dictator" on "Day One."
