The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

And again, check what Hillary! said. Or Biden. Or any number of democrats for the last 20 years.

Then check what gets said on this board. As I've tried to warn Bill for a long time: all that hate had to go somewhere. Looks like it has.

Is this the country you want?

Listen Dope, it's been no secret that the right is far more violent and hate mongering than the left. Yes, this is the house that Dope and Co. built, not the center and left.

Both the political right and left produce polarizing and aggressive rhetoric, but data indicates the scale and impact differ significantly. Research shows that far-right groups and extremist movements are responsible for a significantly higher volume of hostile online language, violent threats, and lethal domestic incidents than the left.

The Right Wing

Extremist Violence: Studies from organizations like the PBS NewsHour and researchers at The Conversation show that right-wing extremist violence has been consistently more frequent and lethal than left-wing violence over the last several decades.

Online Hostility: A study published in PLOS ONE found that conservative social media users were significantly more likely than liberals to use language involving threat, intimidation, humiliation, and negative prejudice.

The Left Wing

Hostile Language: While the right outpaces the left in threats and physical violence, research highlights that left-leaning actors are more likely to utilize obscenities in their rhetoric.

In other words Dope - Shit! Goddamn! Look at how violent, hateful, and openly threatening those right wing Nazis are. :P
