I don't know if it has any reasoning or predictive power, probably not, but I note that AJG has underperformed the average large cap in the few months just before and after year end in 8 of the last 10 years.
Lots of the best entry points (relative to the average stock) seem to have been 1-3 months into the year...maybe 2024 will be no different?
