When I mentioned his access to the payment system of the US Treasury, then facetiously asked “why did he do that?” and then parenthetically added (see your example: Ft. Knox)………… I failed to make my meaning clear, so let me do that now:

If Musk has control of the US Treasury payment system, why would he need a hundred trucks, a ship or two and a secret location where he can stash 6000 tons (assumed) of Ft. Knox gold?

All he needs is his finger to tap a computer key, instantly transferring billions of fiat dollars in an encrypted transmission to an offshore account, and then in the second step also performed with his middle finger, making a billions dollar purchase of crypto?

That’s one (but not the only) concern we have about Musk gaining access to the Treasury payment ststem
