Did something notable happen in Feb/Mar of 2017???

Something very notable happened in Feb\March of 2017. After eschewing any semblance of a transition, Trump frenetically staffed his White House- with several people who proved to be guardrails of democracy- Rex Tillerson, Jeff Sessions, jim Mattis to name a few. John Kelly and John Bolton came later, and there were also those loyal to the Constitution in the Justice Department, and lest we forget, in that last critical moment, there was Mike Pence. And of course, there were others.

Those Constitutional loyalists were all that stood between Trump and his worst impulses, and many of these have told us what some of those worst impulses looked like.

And of course, we’ve heard those worst impulses from Trump’s own mouth and revealed in his Truth Social screeds.

This time, there will not be any Constitutional loyalists in his administration. We know this because he’s told us there won’t be. No guardrails either. And the bought and paid for Supreme Court has ruled he can crime all he wants to, if such crimes are committed as part of his official duties.

This time it will be Trump loyalists, all the way down.
