If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

About that..... There's a lot that goes into it! You have to consider not only tax considerations but estate planning issues. Each country has a different set of rules and you have to constantly bear in mind the consequences of your home country and the country where you live. It does get very complicated but like anything else in life you can figure it out as you go along.
