Dope1: Axios is a lib-friendly source, so you people can go there for confirmation.
Or, I can just read your linked article which clearly states:
In the meeting, one source said, McGurk quoted Biden as saying: "I will not negotiate with Iran for a nuclear and comprehensive deal until after the US election because the Iranians cannot keep their promises.”
And also:
Following Raisi’s death, Iran needs to hold a presidential election within 50 days, and it is unlikely that major foreign policy decisions will be taken during this period of uncertainty. US presidential elections are meanwhile due in November.
In short, there's nothing much in the article other than the Biden administration searching for ways to resolve the Middle East conflicts.
Considering that president Biden is the only American president to visit Israel during war time — in the aftermath of the horrific October 7th terrorist attacks — and the first president to order the U.S. military to defend Israel from a foreign nation’s attack, he must be such a disappointment to Israel unlike the Orange Turd who called Israel’s defense minister a “jerk” and republicans like Elise Stefanik who appeared before the Israeli government’s legislative body to attack president Biden for his policy approach to Israel and the war in Gaza, including efforts to limit civilian casualties in Gaza and to assist in relieving the region’s humanitarian crisis.
On the plus side, president Biden is not writing "beautiful love letters" to the leaders in Iran and telling them he loves them.
