The contempt for democracy in “Unhumans” is not subtle. “Our study of history has brought us to this conclusion: Democracy has never worked to protect innocents from the unhumans,” write Posobiec and Lisec.

Can you imagine making such a statement given all the evidence of history to the contrary?

Authoritarianism has always 'protected innocents'!? Wow, that is some ballsy reinterpretation of history, and a complete inversion of reality.

I suppose these authors have a very weird idea of who the 'innocents' are.

Every time a society goes authoritarian, whether it be far right fascism or far left communism, the mass of people suffer.

WE JUST NEVER LEARN!
