Could it be that Starlink simply won the business because they offered a superior product than the "antiquated legacy systems from Verizon".

Is it even possible that the Starlink alternative was only discovered and moved to finalized contract during the six weeks following Trumps inauguration?

The profit margin on the $2.6 deal, even if as high as 50%, will lead to $1.3B going into to Elon's net worth. That $1.3B, when added to Elon's existing $400B fortune will finally allow Musk to buy nice things.

Lastly, something does not seem quite right with the Verizon deal made in 2023, yet somehow, in less than two years, the Verizon solution is already antiquated.
