I just posted this on the "other Board"...My reaction to the just released annual.
I will leave the picking at the numbers to others here, I focus on his letters. I am once again comforted by his Fortress Berkshire mentality. I hope my family will eventually benefit when I too am gone. I hope that philanthropic actions can become ever more meaningful for me during my lifetime, and theirs, thanks to BH and WEB.
WEB has written his swansong here, He has assured us of continued responsible management , he has talked about his country more than I ever noted in prior letters. He has built a gift that will go on giving.
What more could any investor want ? Nothing.
