Some 72 million Americans rely on Medicaid for their health care needs. That's 1 in 5. Pretty much everyone here likely knows someone receiving Medicaid benefits.

Brilliant move, Trump. Brilliant.

Probably illegal, too. But what's new about that? I'm sure court cases are already being drafted asking for an immediate injunction.

This also gets personal to me. My son is disabled and relies on Medicaid for his health care. I'm trying to remain calm, as I'm fairly sure that those court cases will be filed and an injunction issued today or tomorrow. But part of me would love to see it stick for a week or so so that people on Medicaid who voted for him will feel some very direct pain. That is the only way some people will learn. We need as much learning as we can get.
