I'm more concerned about what kind of sandwich it was.

The one Subway obsession i had long ago was the bbq rib sub with extra bbq sauce and double cheese. That was good stuff in the 90's.

The other underrated one was the meatballs ---same thing, extra sauce and extra cheese and, as a contrarian I never did the whole toast-the-bread craze. the bread gets nice and spongy in the wrapper and it was a good combo.

I stopped going long ago - corporate saturated the country with stores leaving franchisees to make squat and i feel in *some* cases it led to cutting corners.
