Trump’s continued behavior has brought back a memory from 72 years ago.

I had finished my junior year in college and had a summer job with Shell in deep south Louisiana. I was a “roustabout” (manual laborer) working in the oil fields in the marshes. It was hard work, but relatively safe compared with the “roughnecks” who worked on the drilling rigs. Those were dangerous jobs – especially with the safety practices back then. Drillers would throw chains to tighten drill pipes, and then shake them off. Sometimes, fingers would get caught when that didn’t go well.

I overheard an old driller with a couple of fingers missing taking. Another guy asked him what he thought about a certain politician. His response:

“His heart pumps piss, his feet don’t match, and he don’t love Jesus!!”

In other words, no redeeming features.

I guess these kind of politicians have always been around.

But not as POTUS. And other key jobs for that matter.
