BUT..... if I'm waiting tables and I get the base wage (it used to be $2.13 some years ago but I've not checked in awhile).....and I pay income tax on a PERCENTAGE OF MY SALES - which is commonplace - what tax am I paying on cash tips?
Perhaps non cash tips - such as gig jobs that people need in this "Global Economy" that's so great for everyone? I guess an Uber driver has no way to hide his tips as it's not paid in cash?
Anyhow if something like this goes thru, I will personally for free - as (I've done twice in the past and wrote of on TMF ) help some small businesses legally game the crap out of this one. Every time the government does something, it's a solemn duty to get you people for a few bucks. Yes, they will put in rules and safeguards. That just makes the conquest value higher.
