In this instance Hunter Biden (per the book) and a few other unelected aides were the ones actually calling the shots.

Jake Tapper DID NOT SAY that Hunter was “calling the shots” in the White House.

He DID SAY that Hunter Biden had a great deal of influence in the Biden family, and thus indirectly may have influenced Joe Biden’s decisions.

Small difference, but still significant.

We all have advisors- family, mentors, co-workers. But in the end, it is our decision to follow or not follow their advice.


But the claim that Hunter was calling the shots in the White House is ridiculous.
