"Here’s something I did this week that I encourage my fellow Americans and Alaskans to also do. I opened Google Maps, clicked on the menu (three horizontal bars in the upper-left corner), clicked on “Edit the map,” clicked on “Your opinions about Maps” and clicked on “Suggest an idea.”
Then I typed in this message: Your map incorrectly labels Lake Ontario as “Lake America.” It is totally ridiculous to call it “Lake America.” It has been “Lake Ontario” for centuries. Whoever in your company made the decision to call it “Lake America” should (a) be fired; and (b) should be totally ashamed of themselves. In what kind of Orwellian world does one of the Great Lakes overnight become “Lake America” on the whim of Donald Trump?"
