Thank you for posting this and for the heads up reminder.

We masked religiously during Covid --- and took many somewhat obsessive precautions.

Now we've all got flu and covid vaxxes but haven't been masking. Hand washing is 100% after coming home from anywhere and I try to avoid the jag-off coughs and runny nose people who just *have* go do discretionary outings when they are sick.

Beyond that, schools are the germ factory because hey, even when kids are sick somehow they go to school. This week one kid is working on the freaking high school play every day this week for hours because, well, you gotta have a list of shit you did for college admissions -- - yeah, the guy who does my colonoscopy every year, the account who has done the best kink on my taxes for 2 decades, the lawyer who crushed me with retainer costs for decades when I never barely used him.....well.....I guess I should give a crap if they were on the football team the theater club or the lets-exclude-other-kids-clubs.

I truly have disdain for pockets of the world and pockets of life.
