Latest price $505 per B, so latest P/B 1.450. That's a little higher than typical in the last 20 years, but nothing special: Percentile 61-64 over the last 20 years.

If you desire a bullish thought, are there indications that a higher multiple might be a better expectation of "normal"?
Multiples have been a bit higher recently. It has dipped below the 20 year median only 2 days in the last 2.8 years, during which time the average P/peakB has been 1.56.

For the tea leaf readers, July buybacks seem to have been at a price of $495, which was 1.421 times the already-determined-but-not-yet-published June book per share.
