My concern about Google is that the search website is forced to show AI answer at the top instead of company listing. Most of the times I don’t scroll down to find other answers. That would reduce advertisement income overtime. It is ‘forced’ because if they don’t do it, others will.This is definitely happening. The click through rate on results pages with an AI overview is *much* lower. But Google isn't unaware of it. It appears they are much more likely to give an AI overview on a search which is low revenue for them, and less likely if it's a high revenue topic.
