For several days, the "news" has been reporting on the Bot Olympics in China. Chinese bots are approaching humans in speed, agility, and manual dexterity.
Lots of sports fans upset that several MLB teams (Dodgers and Giants, among others) are accepting sponsorship deals with Kalshi, an online prediction/gambling operation run by AI.
It occurred to me that as long as the MLB is going to the dark side in the service of the gambling mob's AI scams, they could also produce sports events with AI athletes. No need for multi-hundred million dollar athletes who regularly get injured. Replace the stadiums with data centers!
