Glad my wife and I cancelled our tickets to Tucson for tomorrow.
Chances are we could fly in without incident, but the risks are rising and are no longer negligible.
Why risk it when can wait for normal times to return….hopefully that will happen someday.
Gives us something to look forward to.
Meanwhile, to the degree that we are able, we will continue reducing the vulnerability we have to screwed up, DOGE induced stupidity in government.
Short of living in self contained survival mode, we can’t eliminate them all, but we can address the biggest ones and still have the sort of life that enables us to do the things we love.
Life is a matter of tradeoffs. Pick yours intentionally and wisely.
