I’m not referring to the Jewish settlers as colonists. I’m referring to the British and the UN, which in 1945-47 was an institution founded and dominated largely by colonial powers.
That was the world order at the time. You can't roll it back. You're condemning everything they did because they were colonialists at the time. I'm not here to excuse the crimes being committed by the Israeli government. They are awful, as are the crimes committed against Israelis. If you want to cancel all ethnonationalist states, good luck with that. But that's not what you're actually doing. You're advocating the cancellation of one such state in favor of another, because of some claimed historic sin.
