Steadily and not-so-steadily getting cheaper after the election. Use your favorite metric for "cheaper"...

One possible meaning would be "lower priced, but for a good reason". Or a reason that is logical for the time being, anyway.

Since you mentioned the notion of ex-US investing, I thought this might be worthwhile reading.
Interesting column in the FT today. Probably paywalled, but this is the link https://www.ft.com/content/c9617ae5-8b8d-450d-a45f...
Or try googling "Big changes are coming for dollar and emerging markets"

Executive summary: some serious risks appearing in emerging markets.

A lot of the headline policies in the US pipeline, if enacted, may be cause big problems for forex and terms of trade for a lot of emerging economies, which may cause anything ranging from turbulence to chaos. Potentially very dollar positive in the short run but dollar negative in the long run. The short run might be long enough to cause some very big headaches. It may hit the commodity complex, too.

The same turbulence may hit developed ex-US markets, but obviously not in the same way.
