I guess I was looking to evaluate NY State ceceding and merging with Quebec - since we seem as loved by the rest of the US as much as Quebec is by Canada :-)
My July trip starts at "the source" (London), and heads to Scotland Norway, Iceland, Greenland and then eventually ends in Montreal. Might as well look over the potential new "property". The actual reason for the trip is the same as a bridge partner of mine gave to a woman who asked why he had moved to Monaco - "for the weather".
